This newsletter almost stopped existing last weekend.

Because of a nameserver.

You see, I finally rebuilt my website (well, technically, Claude did).

Claude and I wrote the copy. Claude Design turned it into the actual visual design that matched my brand. Then Claude Code built the site, deployed it, and connected my domain.

Got the whole thing done over the weekend. Without hiring a designer or a developer.

Plus, I didn't have to tinker with a website builder, which is a huuuuge time saver.

But during the domain setup, Vercel (where my site lives now) recommends switching my nameservers over to them.

Claude Code told me no.

Because my domain also runs this newsletter, which means the DNS records on it hold the authentication that makes my emails land in your inbox instead of spam.

And the records that let my email address receive anything at all.

If I'd followed the instructions, my newsletter would've quietly stopped delivering.

Here's the key: Claude Code caught it because my whole business lives in the workspace it works in.

It knows my business. It knows my tech stack.

That's why giving AI context is super powerful.

Now, your version of this...

Your business most likely has these landmines too.

Like that scheduler that's tied to your domain. Or your course platform that's wired to your email list. Or that checkout page you haven't touched since it was set up.

So before you ask AI to touch anything in your business, give it context first.

Tell it the tools you use, what connects to what or what must never break.

I promise you, it's the difference between AI that does tasks and AI that catches the thing before it breaks.

By the way, if you want to see the whole website build, I walked through the 3-part process in this week's video.
