Have you seen the "day in the life" ChatGPT trend?

It's about asking ChatGPT to show you a day in your life 3 years from now, and you get this lovely image of the future version of you.

It's quite a fun exercise.

But then I thought... that's actually a really good reflection and visualization exercise, too.

The only problem is...

It's not really actionable. At least, the core exercise isn't designed to give you an implementation roadmap.

Don't get me wrong.

I love reflections and planning and journaling... but I learned the value of execution the hard way.

So I decided to turn that whole "day in the life" trend into 2 experiments.

Lemme walk you through both:

Experiment 1: Design your future

You tell ChatGPT where you want to go, then work backwards from it.

  1. Describe your life 3 years from now (or let ChatGPT interview you)

  2. Ask for an ordinary weekday in that life

  3. Turn that day into an image

  4. Reality check it

  5. Get a 6-month roadmap

  6. Turn it into a weekly schedule

Experiment 2: Extrapolate your future

This is the uncomfortable (but more insightful) one. ChatGPT shows you where the way you work right now is already taking you.

  1. Future A: your life in 3 years if you build what you're aiming for

  2. Future B: your life in 3 years if nothing changes

  3. Compare the two

  4. Find the 3 to 5 changes that matter most

  5. Build a 6-month plan

  6. Build the schedule

If you want the prompts for each step in both experiments, just reply PROMPT to this email and I'll send it over. No optin required.

And oh, here's a cool insight I want to share with you:

"Don't design the schedule of you future self. Design the schedule your current self needs to follow to become that person."

Btw, I just dropped a new video walking you through all 12 prompts you can use for this exercise. Watch it here.

And again, if you'd like the exact prompts I showed on the video, hit me up.

Reply PROMPT and I'll send you the resource so you can copy them straight into your own ChatGPT convo.

Give it a try and lemme know how it goes for you!

Let’s build freedom together,

This is a bit personal but… do you ever fight with your spouse about your finances?

I asked because my friend, Tom, has a 3-Step Guide to Turn Money Fights Into Money Teamwork.

I mean, getting on the same page with your spouse about money will give you alignment on your goals and more calm conversations. And Tom’s free guide addresses that with simple steps to find financial alignment.

If money is truly one of those things you avoid because you know where the conversation will go, I suggest you grab Tom’s resource.
